Shoreline services
About 9,000 houses went up in the Shoreline area between 1942 and 1950, and the 1950s are still the biggest decade in its housing today, at 23% of homes (Shoreline Landmarks Commission; U.S. Census ACS 2024). Baths and kitchens lead our work, and the cards below show the rest.

Weighing a few Shoreline projects at once? This overview covers everything we do and helps you decide which one to start with.
Home Renovation & Remodeling
If your finishes are already chosen, from tile to cabinet hardware, we build your Shoreline remodel straight from that list.
Custom Home Renovations
New drywall, ceilings, trim and flooring inside Shoreline homes, matched to the rooms around them so the repair doesn't show.
Interior Home Renovations
Shoreline homes with a basement can gain a family room or guest space; we handle the drywall, flooring and trim to finish it.
Basement Renovation
The same team designs your Shoreline layout and finishes and then builds them, so each decision carries straight through to the work.
Home Renovation & Design
Need a plan first? We help Shoreline homeowners settle the layout, finishes and budget before any building begins.
Home Renovation Design Services
Water damage, drywall and ceiling repairs, flooring, and fence and gate work for Shoreline homes, whether the job is big or small.
Repairs & Restoration
Decks, pergolas, privacy walls and stairs, built to handle Shoreline's rainy months and laid out to suit a sloped or a flat lot.
Decks & Pergolas
Inside and outside painting, siding and deck stain, and door refinishing. Most Shoreline homes predate 1980, and paint applied before 1978 is worth testing for lead.
Painting & StainingBefore & after
One project is a bathroom we redid, the other a sagging gate we replaced. They show how we work, wherever the job is.

‹ ›BeforeAfterWhy Shoreline homeowners hire us
About two out of three Shoreline homes are owner-occupied (U.S. Census ACS 2024), and a big share of those houses come from the postwar building boom. We keep the process simple and the work careful.
Attention to detail is the phrase our Google reviewers repeat most, from tile edges to the way we protect a home people are living in.
The whole project can run in English or Spanish, whichever your household prefers, from estimate to walkthrough.
Three years of coverage on what we build, starting the day your Shoreline job is finished.

About Ultra Renovations
AJ Lopez Murillo grew up in the Pacific Northwest and worked across the trades, supervising team projects along the way. Professionalism is the value he built Ultra on.
Ultra Renovations is Latino-owned and based in Lake Stevens. Shoreline homeowners get an owner-led company and a crew that works in English and Spanish.
AJ Lopez Murillo, owner
How it works
It takes four steps. Before demolition in an older Shoreline home, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency says to check for asbestos; owner-occupants of a single-family house may do that survey themselves.
Phone or WhatsApp (425) 268-0035, or send the form, and describe what you'd like to change in your Shoreline home.
We visit, measure and go over layout, finishes and budget with you. In a 1950s house we also note the age of any plumbing and wiring we can see.
We go through the scope and price in Spanish or English, and the work begins only after you approve.
Our crew does the remodel, then we tour the finished work together.
Our warranty
We stand behind our workmanship for three years after completion. If anything we built for you isn't right, give us a call and we'll return to look at it. The full terms are yours to ask about at the estimate.

Our focus is baths and kitchens, often in Shoreline's 1950s houses, the city's largest group of homes. We also take on whole-home remodels. Other work we've done includes flooring, interior and exterior painting, water damage repair, decks, pergolas and fences.
Under Shoreline Municipal Code 9.05.070, construction noise is a public nuisance outside 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends and legal holidays. The same window covers home repair projects using power tools. Each violation is a $100 civil infraction, and every day it happens counts as a separate violation.

Yes. Shoreline's zoning code allows two accessory dwelling units on each lot, according to the city's permit FAQ. An ADU can be detached, like a standalone house, or attached, such as a basement or above-garage unit. Your zoning still sets how many homes fit on the lot, so check the city's ADU handout or email pcd@shorelinewa.gov.
