Everett remodeling services
About 16% of Everett's homes date from 1939 or earlier, and roughly 28% were built before 1960 (U.S. Census ACS 2024). Houses that age may still have older plumbing and wiring or small original bathrooms, so we plan for that from the first visit.

Everett's homes range from houses built before 1940 to ones finished in the last few years. One owner-led, bilingual crew plans your remodel and sees it through.
Our Google reviewers mention attention to detail more than anything else, and older Everett trim and tile call for exactly that.
Every conversation about your Everett project, from the estimate to the last punch-list item, can happen in English or Spanish.
Our workmanship carries a three-year warranty, so you're covered well after the crew has packed up.
In the Rucker-Grand, Norton-Grand and Riverside overlay zones, Everett's Historical Commission reviews certain permitted exterior work, like additions over 150 square feet. Interior kitchen and bath remodels aren't on that list.

How it works
Here's how an Everett project moves, step by step.
Call or WhatsApp (425) 268-0035, or send the form, and tell us about the room and the house it's in.
We look at the space with you, measure, and talk about layout, finishes and budget. In an older Everett house we also note the plumbing and wiring we can see, since they shape what the remodel involves.
We review the estimate and scope with you in English or Spanish, and the work starts only after you approve it.
Our crew carries out the work, then we go through the finished room together.
Our warranty
What we build in your Everett home is backed for three years. If a problem with our workmanship turns up, call us and we'll come see it. Ask us for the full terms when we go over your estimate.
Everett FAQ
Yes. We work across Everett, including Northwest Everett, Riverside, Port Gardner and Rucker Hill, Bayside, Silver Lake, View Ridge-Madison, Lowell and Boulevard Bluffs.
Inside city limits, residential building permits come from City of Everett Permit Services. Homes in unincorporated areas nearby go through Snohomish County Planning and Development Services.
Bathrooms and kitchens first, including the small original baths in some of Everett's older houses. We handle whole-home remodels too. Other past jobs: water damage repair, flooring, painting, and building decks, pergolas and fences.
For October 1 to December 31, 2026, Everett's combined sales tax rate is 9.9%: the 6.5% state rate plus Everett's 3.4% local rate. Washington taxes the full remodel contract, including labor, materials, permit fees and subcontractors. Everett addresses outside the Regional Transit Authority area use 8.5%, so check yours with the state's tax rate lookup.
Usually, yes. Everett allows attached and detached ADUs in every zone except Light and Heavy Industrial, and an ADU's habitable area, including basements, must be under 1,000 square feet. Units under 1,200 square feet need no off-street car parking. Each unit needs its own water meter, and mostly interior conversions skip the city's site and building design rules.
It depends on size and height. Everett exempts a deck only if it is 200 square feet or smaller, no more than 30 inches above grade at any point, not attached to the house and not serving a required exit door. Decks that don't meet all of those conditions need a permit. Everett Permit Services answers questions at 425-257-8810.
Use MapEverett, the city's online map. Search your address, open the layer list and turn on the Utilities layer. A side sewer shows as a dashed green line running from your house to a sewer main, with green text giving its data. If another sewer district serves your property, the map labels that jurisdiction instead of Everett.
Often, yes. The City of Everett says homeowners can draw plans for most small residential projects, additions, garages and remodels if the drawings meet the code's prescriptive requirements. Engineering calculations are needed for unusual shapes, non-wood framing, complex structure or site conditions, or plans that don't meet prescriptive lateral bracing rules.
