Bathroom Remodeling
New cabinets and counters for a 1980s or '90s Mukilteo kitchen, or a fuller redo that moves the sink, stove or a wall, which needs a permit.
Kitchen Remodeling
For a Mid-Town house from the middle of last century or a Harbour Pointe home from its first phases, we work room by room in a sensible order.
Whole-Home Remodeling
Siding, eave and entry repairs finished with paint or stain, whether your Mukilteo home has a view of the Sound or backs onto a wooded gulch.

Home Renovation & Remodeling
Already picked your tile, fixtures and colors? Bring the list, and we'll build your Mukilteo project around those choices.
Custom Home Renovations
Ceilings, wall repairs, trim and flooring inside Mukilteo homes, matched to the existing finishes so new work blends with the rooms you keep.
Interior Home Renovations
Where your Mukilteo home has a basement, we can finish it as living space, and the city's code also lets an interior remodel create an ADU.
Basement Renovation
A single team drafts the layout and picks finishes with you for your Mukilteo remodel, then builds it, so the drawing and the build stay in step.
Home Renovation & Design
Just want a plan for now? We help Mukilteo homeowners settle layout, finishes and budget before any demolition starts.
Home Renovation Design Services
Fixes after a leak, wall and ceiling repair, worn floors, plus fences up to 6 feet, which Mukilteo allows without a permit outside the front setback.
Repairs & Restoration
Decks, pergolas, stairs and privacy walls; in Mukilteo a small, low deck can skip the permit, but changing its stairs or railings needs one.
Decks & Pergolas
Paint inside and out, siding and deck stain, and front-door refinishing for Mukilteo homes from every decade, pre-1940 to today.

A third of Mukilteo residents are 60 or older, and the city's 2024 plan supports helping people stay in their homes as they age. We build with that in mind: clear plans, tidy work, and a bath or kitchen you can keep using for years.
Attention to detail is the phrase our Google reviewers use most. Expect the same care with your tile, trim and cleanup.
Walkthroughs, estimates and questions happen in the language your family is most comfortable with, from the first call to the final check.
If our workmanship on your Mukilteo project isn't right within three years, we come back and look at it.
Old Town is the city's oldest neighborhood, Goat Trail sits above it on winding roads, and Harbour Pointe grew in sectors from 1978. We work in each, and in Picnic Point beyond the city line.

How it works
Four steps, in order. If your project needs a city permit, note that Mukilteo's permit counter is open Monday through Thursday.
Ring (425) 268-0035 (calls and WhatsApp both work) or fill in the form below, and tell us which room in your Mukilteo home you'd like to redo.
At your home we walk the room, measure, and discuss layout, finishes and what you want to spend. In a 1970s or older house, we'll also bring up testing for lead paint or asbestos before demolition.
You get the estimate and scope explained in English or Spanish, and work begins once you sign off.
Our crew does the work, and when it's done we tour the finished space together.
Our warranty
Our workmanship stays covered for three years past completion. If something we built in your Mukilteo home turns out wrong, phone us and we'll come take a look. The full terms are explained when you receive your estimate.
Mukilteo questions
Yes. We work across Mukilteo, including Old Town, Harbour Pointe, Chennault Beach, Olympus Terrace and Picnic Point.
Inside city limits, the City of Mukilteo Planning & Community Development Building division reviews permits and inspects construction. Homes in unincorporated areas nearby go through Snohomish County Planning and Development Services.
We focus on bathrooms and kitchens, and many Mukilteo projects start in a house from the 1980s or 1990s, the city's biggest building years. We also do whole-home remodels, and past work covers decks, pergolas, fences, flooring, painting and water damage repair.
In Mukilteo, the city's allowed construction hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The city can approve work outside those hours through a noise variance, which it reviews under its noise code, MMC 9.46, and the state noise rules in WAC 173-60.
Yes. Mukilteo requires a building permit for all new windows, and every re-roofing project needs a permit, even an overlay. The city also requires a mechanical permit to replace a furnace, heat pump or air conditioner, and paving or repaving a driveway that connects to a public street needs a right-of-way permit.
Request a Mukilteo building inspection by 3 p.m. the day before, through the city's Online Permit Portal or by emailing the Building Department. Inspections are done Monday through Thursday. You can ask for a morning or afternoon slot, but the city doesn't guarantee it. Engineering inspections, such as right-of-way work, need 72 hours' notice.
Mukilteo allows up to two accessory dwelling units on a single-family lot, each with no more than 1,000 square feet of living space. An ADU can be an addition, a new structure or an interior remodel. ADUs can be up to 24 feet tall, or the zone's height limit over a garage, and each needs its own address.
A contractor remodeling your home collects sales tax on the total contract price, at the rate where the work takes place. For Mukilteo, the Washington Department of Revenue lists a combined rate of 10.6% for October 1 to December 31, 2026. On a $20,000 remodel, that adds $2,120 in sales tax.
